Alert: new NDIS fair pricing rules

There are new rules in the NDIS Code of Conduct about price differentiation. In simple terms, if a provider charges an NDIS participant more for a product or service than they would charge other customers, they may face penalties for breaching the Code of Conduct.

For instance, a shower chair that is sold to an NDIS participant for $1,200 and to other customers for $120, would not be acceptable pricing according to the Code of Conduct. The new rules are all about improving pricing transparency to help make sure all participants get fair treatment.
