Psychologist (Registered)

Danny Camfferman is a registered Psychologist who has an extensive history of involvement in psychological research and practice within university and clinical environments. Danny is a strong advocate in the use of evidence-based interventions and utilises effective psychological approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment therapy, and Motivational Interviewing in the support and care of his clients.

Danny is motivated to reduce the suffering of his clients through improving their emotional functioning, increasing their skill sets, to better manage their circumstances, and to proceed with a greater ability to deal with future plans and opportunities. He has significant experience in working with a culturally diverse clientele, including ex-service personnel, LGBTQ+, and Indigenous people in the management of mood disorders, anxiety disorders, depression, self-esteem deficits, anger management and self-confidence, emotion regulation, obsessive compulsive disorder, and panic attacks.
